Verkerks produces quality bacon and hams that are meatier and dryer than most. Verkerks range of bacons crisp quickly and have great flavour from the natural smoking process. Verkerks ham is made using whole muscle premium pork legs and is only lightly injected with brine before smoking to ensure a classic flavour and texture.

Preparation

Verkerks Bacon is best pan fried, grilled or as a recipe ingredient. Verkerks ham is wonderful straight out of the packet in sandwiches, or on an antipasto platter.

Storage

Verkerks Bacon and Ham should be stored in the fridge 0-4oC and consumed within seven days.
